My Manila trip agak membosankan! Kalau kamu tanya aku samada aku mau datang sini kah lagi... aku akan cakap, "this is my first and last trip". Aku ndak mau sudah datang sini. Huhuuu... Kenapa??
Kami datang ke Manila for 4 days and three nights only. Hari pertama jak terus pigi tengok konsert JLO. So, hari kedua tu kami sewa kenderaan with supir untuk 5 jam sahaja.
Day 2
Berhenti sekejap bergambar di Rizal Park. (It reminds me of my Boss. Hahaaa). Ambik-ambik foto sekejap... lepas tu kami gerak ke Fort Santiago.
Fort Santiago is located in the northern part of the Walled City. In pre-colonial times, this was the site of Rajah Soliman's "kuta" or fort. The Spaniards under the term of Governor General Gomez Perez Dasmarinas fortified what was originally stone structures. Other governors general continued to modernize Fort Santiago's defenses. Which makes it probably the best laid-out portion of the walls.
Memorial Cross
Yang ni aku tidak tau apa ya. Aku nampak benda ni pelik so aku minta ambik gambar saja. Macam orang space jak tu kan.
Lama juga la kami di dalam ni. Bayaran masuk ke Fort Santiago P75.00 only. Selepas tu kami bergerak untuk melawat mana-mana gereja berdekatan. So, kami berenti di Manila Cathederal tapi malangnya it's closed for renovation. Hehehe....
Lepas tu kami ke San Agustin church pulak. Nasib kali ni buka.
San Augustin Church, constructed during the Spanish colonial period was declared by UNESCO as World Heritage site in 1993 under the collective title Baroque Churces of the Philippines.
Church nya tutup lagi kerana it's lunch time. Hehehe... Hahaa... so, kami pun beredar la.
Basilica Minore de San Sebastian better known as San Sebastian Church is the only neo-gothic steel church in the Philippines and in Asia. (It's minty green ooo....)
Oleh kerana kepenatan half day tour, destinasi terakhir kami adalah..... shopping mall. Yang dinanti-nantikan. Hehehe... Setelah berbincang, mesyuarat bersetuju agar kami pigi ke Greenbelt. So driver stop kami di Greenbelt 5.
Semangat si Mel posing depan Greenbelt 5. Hehehe... Sedikit penerangan mengenai shopping mall Greenbelt. Sila baca ya.
A shopping complex in Makati, Greenbelt in Ayala Center is said to be the first premier lifestyle center in the country. It offers a mix of restaurants, retail shops and entertainment amenities that range from low-end to high-end. As such, the complex has become the beehive of expats, a place to see and to be seen.
The mall has two indoor buildings and a couple more open-air shopping centers divided between five sections: mostly appliance stores at Greenbelt 1, designer clothing shops at Greenbelt 3, and high-end shops of local and international brands at Greenbelt 4 and Greenbelt 5.
An explosion in Glorietta on October 2007 ripped through Greenbelt 2, which is why it is still under construction. Restaurants in Greenbelt 1 are mostly fast food, while Greenbelts 2 to 5 feature sit-down cafés andrestaurants. Among the most popular ones are Café Havana, Temple Bar, Seattle’s Best, Hard Rock Café, and Chili’s. Fely J’s in Greenbelt 5 and Sentro in Greenbelt 3 offer Filipino fusion cuisine. There is also the Indian-inspired Bollywood, Red Box KTV bar, Ice Bar, and Greenbelt 3 3D theaters for late-night entertainment. Hehehe.... Terpaksa.... pasal satu hari berjalan tak kan la tiada rembatan langsung kan. Mau tengok barang yang aku beli?? Enduk bah.... ini jak bah.
Ini adalah tempat jam. Aku tertarik dengan colournya. Turqoise. Harganya pun quite cheap. Baru RM40 gitu.
Nah chantek kah kasutku? Murah aje. Baru RM90++. Tingginya just nice dan selesa. Harap-harap la. Belum lagi aku pernah pakai. Ntah bila la baru mau rasmi ni. Kalau mau pakai time Xmas tak dapat sebab Xmas nanti aku pakai boots. Toinkkk.....
Ndak ingat brapa harganya. Dalam RM10 kali ya.
Sempat beli dan tapau 4 kotak Brownies Unlimited punya sedappp....... dan murah ya. RM12 kalau ndak silap harganya ni untuk 12 pieces.
Day 3
Day 3 ni kira macam hari terakhir kami untuk bershopping. So, awal kami bertolak. Before 11am kami sudah gerak from our hotel. So, destinasi kami adalah ke Mall of Asia.
Sedikit penerangan mengenai Mall of Asia.
The 42-hectare Mall of Asia (MOA) or SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City is the second biggest mall in the country and the fourth largest in the world. Situated in the southern end of EDSA at Bay City in Pasay City, the mall attracts at least 200,000 visitors daily for its IMAX theater, dining and shopping establishments, food court, supermarket and open-air entertainment mall.
Sebenarnya Mall of Asia ni nampak saja besar. Tapi tiada apa-apa bah ni. Kedainya sikit saja. Yang kasi besar tu dia punya SM departmental store tu la. Dan di sini banyak kedai makan. Alamakkkk... Lupa update pasal makanan.
Hehehe. Only RM28.

Handmade purse for souviniers
Me and my sister setuju pigi ke Greenhills berdua. Manakala Mary & Mel tetap mau bershopping di Mall of Asia.
Sedikit penerangan mengenai Greenhills Shopping Center.
Greenhills
Shopping Center, located in San Juan, is a mid-to-upscale bargain center
catering to all social classes who are looking for cheap thrills with stylish
branding. With thousand of stores and stalls, one needs more than a day to
finish roving around the center. The shopping arcades are usually crowded every
Christmas as young and old people troop to Greenhills not only to buy gifts and
giveaways but also to witness the lifesize mannequin show, that is the
"Christmas on Display" (C.O.D.). Tourists and foreign visitors are
also brought here to shop for cheap versions of branded items as well as
Filipiniana souvenirs.
Kena tunggu lamaaaaaa.... Aku rasa macam mau 2 jam kami tunggu teksi. Sadishhh eh. My sister dapat beli banyak barangnya di sini. Dia sangat berpuas hati shopping di sini. Memang murah betul barang di sini. As for me.... aku cuma terbeli ini saja la....
Unique bid necklace for RM38 only after discount. I am happy and very satisfied with the price.
Another t.shirt for souviniers
and.... hehehehe..... LOL....
It's actually a pen! I'm buying this for my girlfriend. Hahaha....
Day 4
Time to go home... Besar lagi.
Our flight jam 3.30pm dari Manila. My sister pulak flightnya delay sikit. Sepatutnya dia deluan belayar tapi akhirnya kami pulak yang terbang dulu. Dia punya flight jam 3.40pm.
Aku lebih prefer Thailand, China or Hong Kong for shopping. So, i'm not happy la for this trip. THE END.
